Senior SAP ABAP Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior SAP ABAP Developer for a leading Management Consulting Company. You are required to have a deep understanding of SAP ABAP programming language, SAP software applications, and development methodologies. You should also have experience in a teamwork environment, excellent communication skills, and the aptitude to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Designing, coding, testing, debugging, and maintaining custom SAP Solutions using ABAP programming language.
• Teaming up with business analysts and end-users to identify business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of development methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Developing and implementing custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms using ABAP.
• Staying up-to-date with modern ABAP technologies and SAP developments, and constantly improving development practices.
• Conducting code reviews and ensuring compliance with coding standards, performance, and security guidelines.
• Troubleshooting and solving issues associated with custom ABAP development, providing timely and competent support to business users.
• Contributing to project planning and estimation, providing technical input, and guaranteeing delivery timelines are met.

Skills Required:

• SAP Fiori Development Experience
• Data Migration or Data Generation Experience
• Creation of concept, architecture, processes and guidelines for the S/4HANA based development solutions
• Elaboration of best practices for S/4HANA development and migration projects with a focus on ABAP development
• Development of concepts to optimize existing ABAP code for S/4HANA compliance
• Consulting and technical support for S/4HANA-based development projects
• Training and coaching of ABAP developers regarding S/4HANA optimization and new SAP technologies
• Cooperation with internal and external service providers
