QA (Quality Assurance) Automation Engineer

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer with Technical Expertise in SAP HANA for a leading Management Consulting Company. You will utilize your business process knowledge and SAP experience to provide from the inception of the business process, analysis through development, testing, and delivery of solutions to the business.

Skills Required:

• Helps assist in implementing test strategy, test plans, specifications, creating test cases and test data sets that validate functional, performance, and load test requirements and update existing test procedures based on requirement changes and test analysis.
• Supports design and implementation of robust, scalable, high quality Test Automation Suites within a Continuous Integration and Deployment environment to improve quality and productivity of functional, regression, and system tests.
• Analyze test results, and identify, document, and report root causes for test failures by working with the development team and the defect tracking system.
• Participates in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents
• Identifies opportunities for process, tools, and test methodology improvements, and drives those from concept to implementation.
• Generate ideas and innovative solutions which will provide competitive edge to business products.
• Ability to increase QA test automation coverage with a team of engineers both locally and remote.
• Expertise in SQL scripting
• Experience in testing in SQL Database (preferably SAP HANA) and Tableau reporting
• Prepare defect and evaluation reports. Exposure to AZURE devOps
• Independent Analytical thinking and problem solving ability

Responsibilities:

• Experience in developing automated testcases in at least one programming
  language
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance, especially web
  applications
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
• Strong knowledge in common web application technologies
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
